Vlomo 2012 Day 18 – It’s tough

By , 18 November 2012 8:54 pm

This year I’m finding it tough to find time and situations to record stuff, so here’s a bit of talking head to explain it.

Vlomo 2012 Day 17 – Tiny

For this video I borrowed my daughter’s USB microscope and recorded what it sees of some of the things to be found around my desk. Can you work out what they are?

Vlomo 2012 Day 16 – Hail

By , 16 November 2012 11:29 pm

Vlomo 2012 Day 14 – Fog

By , 14 November 2012 10:35 pm

It’s becoming a bit of a tradition for me to do a video like this for Vlomo. It’s usually around the middle of November that we get the first decent fog of the season.

For fun, you can compare this year’s video with the ones from vlomo 2011 and vlomo 2010.

By , 14 November 2012 12:22 am

I have just started a few weeks of work at a client site. It’s somewhere I have worked before, with an area of woodland behind.

Note that the caption on the video thinks it is Day 14, but that was just sloppiness on my part, This is really the video for day 13, of course.

Vlomo 2012 Day 12 – Smokey

By , 12 November 2012 9:54 pm

Our hamster “smokey” has lived a long time. Over two years – a long time for a little rodent. But now he is getting old and losing the fur that gave him his name. Now he looks like a wrinkly old man. But he still has loads of energy.

Vlomo 2012 Day 11 – Pigeons

By , 11 November 2012 9:46 pm

It’s Armistice Day, and our local woodpigeons are trying to get along in peace at the bird table, but they can’t resist a little tussle.
